The final xmas vlog! (Yet more of) xmas eve; also included are xmas morning and xmas evening. Christmas is way over-rated :p
It took me awhile to figure out what song to use; Christmas music was an obvious choice, but I think it's very annoying. I can't stand it! I wanted something not too cheery, but not too sad. I stumbled upon this, and I thought it fit the mood perfectly :x
Hopefully this isn't too boring, I know Christmas footage can be tedious to watch.. I tried to trim the tree.. well.. the video.. pun intended.. that wasn't very funny... but.. ho ho ho. Oh well...
Last Thursday (Thanksgiving) I went on a family trip to Tunica, Mississippi.. there's nothing there except a couple of casinos. It's close to Memphis, though, so we went and saw (the overpriced, NO VIDEO, NO TOUCHING, blah, blah..) Graceland.. but for the most part I just walked around the hotel and listened to music (they didn't have wireless internet :[ ).
Just got back (late) Sunday night, and have been working longer than I'd like to admit on editing this.. I think there were like 300 video clips.. I tried to trim everything down :s !!
Music: Get Me Naked 2: The Electric Boogaloo by Minus the Bear.
My aunt gave my dad a four wheeler, and today was the first time I took it out on my own. I don't really like going fast; I think it's just nice to "get away".
It was great until it broke down... then I had to walk a quarter of a mile back home. I'm blaming it on Friday the 13th, but it was actually because I'm not that good of a driver :(
This is the first live music performance I've been to.
This Is Not An Exit is a local band and my friend Denver is the drummer. They played a benefit show for "Relay For Life" last night. Check out their MySpace.
A year ago if you asked me what I "wanted to be", I would of told you "something in marketing". Now, though, I believe commercials are manipulative (at least they try to be).
Last night I was thinking it would be cool to walk to the end of the road... not for any real reason... I guess it was this impulse... so, this morning, I did.
My stepdad was giving me a hard time about not wanting to use the dirty truckstop bathrooms (he calls going to the bathroom "pinching the loaf"... which is gross).
The New York-New York Casino & Hotel. I was surprised I didn't get thrown out for taking video inside the casino... but I did get a warning when I got off the Manhattan Express roller coaster: "for future refrence, cameras are not allowed on the ride". That fuckin ride was a huge ripoff- $12.50. They should pay me $12.50 to go on that old piece of shit. The casino and hotel towers were really cool, though.
This post documents the last 3 weeks of the school year at Monroe Area High School... it reminds me of all those teen drama series on TV... except this is real ; )
Whenever I watch this, I get the nastolgic feeling of being in the 9th grade... it feels like it was only yesterday......
Sunday was Mother's Day. Sunday I had to go to this little "party" my family was having, then I drove home (we live on the same road). Then I went on the computer, then we had to leave to go see RV and eat Chinese. Then we had to go to my great aunt's house and see her new house... we stayed there a while, then I finally got to go home (I really didn't feel like going anywhere that day).
This video is a little lenghty (around 15 min.) because of the huge amount I shot Sunday. Also, because I introduced you to new people, I added subtitles to let you know who everyone was. Ok... I think that about sums it up...
Wednesday I had to go to the dentist... well, it wasn't actually a dentist office, it was a technical college where people are still learning to clean teeth, where people go before they become dentist or dental hygenist. It cost like $17 versus $120, because the people aren't done with school yet... but the lady who cleaned my teeth told me she was about to graduate... but enough of the technical stuff! This video is simply a post covering my trip to the "dentist"... enjoy!
Music: My Shiny Teeth and Me from The Fairly OddParents.
Ok. This little incident occured on the bus on my ride home last week. Now, I admit, I thought it to be pretty funny. You may think otherwise. But, nevertheless, I am going against my judgement and goodwill and posting it here. The youth of America... what is this nation coming to?
I had to go to the park with my family one Sunday a few weeks ago. It was relativley boring, as you can tell from most of the video I captured. Of course, toward the end it did get kind of fun- we had this egg toss (which I did not participate in- I hate eggs), and then we had a 3-legged race (that was a little awkward... being so close to the person your teamed up with... in this case it was my mom). All in all, it was a miserable experience. I hate going to parks... especially when I end up being suckered (forced) into doing stuff like babysitting a 3 year old... damn. I never wanna go back to a freakin park with my family again. Next time, I'm stayin in the car : )
When I filmed this video, we had visitors- my mom's friend and her 2 children (one who's name is Ethan... he's the wild and crazy 5 year old, and one who's name is Racheal... she's the girl sitting on the left... she's Ethan's sister) were visiting us from out of state. The video is kind of long, so let me give you a summary of what happens: we drive to the Chinese restaurant, we eat there, we drive to the movie theatre, we see a movie (The Benchwarmers), we drive home, they (the visitors) stay there for a while, then they leave. That's what happens. That's all there is to it... (don't worry, the video is better than is sounds)!
Oh... also in this video, I unveal the new starting/ ending sequence (much better than the old one!)... I don't know how long I'll keep this one... I kept the last one for 25 post... maybe I'll keep this one for 25, then change it after I reach 50 post..... I dunno.... it all just depends... oh yeah... be sure to leave your comments on the new sequence and the post..... if you want....
I was outside and an ant bit me. I got very pissed off, so I pulled out the waterhose and started to "drown" them in water. Now, I know I probally wasn't killing them, but I sure did screw up their little colonies. Ha. Stupid ants! I hate them!
A horror "film" with a psycho ant killer on the loose... who would have guessed... damn... what will I think of next?
Music: the themes from Nightmare on Elm Street, Child's Play 2 and Jaws.
This morning I woke up bright and early to try and find my Easter basket. It turned out to be alot harder than I thought it would be... that Easter bunny sure is good at hiding those baskets! I finally found mine underneath a blanket on a chair- and boy, was I excited! I just love the candy and goodies the Easter bunny brings!
Ok... this video is a bit exagerated. It takes alot more than just candy to get me that excited (nothing that I can think of at the moment) and I really don't like Easter that much... I don't really like it at all. Anyway, this is a (pretty) funny (and exagerated) video with some very Eastery background music... take a look!
Music: The Easter Rabbit, Here Comes Peter Cotton Tails and The Bunny Hop.
Ok. A viewer told me: "you should do a video for that You're Beautiful song. It Would be funny." I thought: yeah. So I downloaded the song to my iPod shuffle, went out in the backyard, and started recording. It turned out allright.... although my lip movements are almost always a bit out of sync with the actual music. Oh well... I tried my best : )
Just in case you were wondering, I added the color changing effect thing to it because it looked like something you'd see in a real music video.
If you have any suggestions on videos you would like to see on here, I'd be more than happy to try my best and make them for you. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have : )
Mmmm.... fat-free mish-mash! Yum! I had a ton of video files on my desktop that wern't quite worthy of their own vlog post, so, I picked the best clips from each of these videos, mixed them up, and put them all into one power packed, fat-free video- it's mish-mashed fun! This post took me like over 2 1/2 hours to edit- so I hope you like it : )
As for the adult content.... there is none (except for a little cussing from my grandmother). The adult content thing with the dogs is more of a joke.... just watch it....you'll see!
Also, just in case your wondering, the title is just something I came up with while editing this thing. It sounded kind of neat, so I said, hey, why not use it? So, I did, and fat-free mish-mash was born.
Last week during spring break me and my family traveled to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN (about 5 hours away from where we live). I took some pictures and video (I wish I would of taken more onride video... I'm sorry that I didn't)... alot of the video of which was taken through the back, side window of the fuel-effiecient car we were driving, a Suburban. Now I don't really like country music all that well... butI do like Dolly's country music (besides all of her refrences to god and jesus and crap like that). And, since this trip's purpose was to go to Dolly Parton's Dollywood, I said why not put Dolly's music through the whole damn thing... so I did... if your not a fan of country music... you may find this post's audio very annoying.... sorry to any of you non country folks out there (folks... get it... its country.......oh, forget it).
The song "Travelin' Thru" starts the video out on our "journey" with the driving to Pigeon Forge. When the video reaches the song "Why'd You Come in Here Lookin' Like That", we are now in Peigeon Forge. When the song "Coat of Many Colors" comes on, this follows you through to the end of the Dollywood footage. And finally, when the song "I Will Always Love You" comes on, we are leaving the Motel 6 we stayed in for two nights, remembering that we will always love Dollywood and Dolly Parton and Pigeon Forge (I guess.... I don't know... the song just sounded kinda sad and I wanted to end it with a sad ending...because we were sad when we had to leave....).
If you don't like the "driving footage", fast forward to around the 6 minute mark. Here the "driving footage" ends and the "fun at Dollywood" begins (lol).
Music: Travelin' Thru, Why'd You Come in Here Lookin' Like That, Coat of Many Colors and I Will Always Love You by Dolly Parton.
It's been 39 days since my last Vlog post (well, today 40, but yesterday when I filmed this it was 39) but forget about the numbers. No one should ever neglect their vlog like that! That is just plain wrong! Wrong, wrong, wrong! I feel so bad. Look what happens when you don't post in your vlog- you go insane. Now, I admit, some (well, most) of the stuff in that video (ok, all) was made up and not true.... but, this could happen if you don't post regularly in your vlog (or anyone for that matter). So, watch, and remember- this could be me one day. Ok, no. Probally not. No. You never want to end up like that. Just stay regular, ok, promise me. You'll stay regular. Whatever that means. Ok. I'm totally lost. What was I talking about? Forget it. Just watch the damn post.
I look very very bad in this post! Anyway, just remember, It's made up. It's not real. Remember. I tried to make myself seem ugly, discutsting and insane, but I'm not. Ok. Just wanted to clear that up...
Whitney (10), my sister (the red head) and Cassi (12), my cousin (the other one) star in this real-life video of them preparing to go nextdoor to grandma's house to spend the night (something they do quite frequently). Although most of the content in the video is sutable for children, toward the end Cassi starts a stream of cussing and Whitney follows along (viewer discretion advised). Don't Cassi and Whitney get along great? I sure think so...
In this synergy of audio, video and photos, you're able to see the drive, the stores and ...um.... thats about it. (This was actually shot at three malls: the Mall of Georgia, Discovery Mills and Georgia Square mall.) Just in case you were wondering, that creepy little mokey in the video is available at The Sharper Image for only $149.95 (yeah right!).
I think pep ralleys are lame. But, edited down, pep ralleys arent too bad (they're still bad). This one in particular was to "get our school crunk for the girl's state basketball tournament" being held the following day in the gym. Do you think our pep ralleys are lame? Watch this abbreviated presentation our pep ralley and decide for yourself- be sure to leave your comments!
I was listening to this song Wednesday morning around 1:49 and just couldn't stop listening too it... this is a fairly good song that gets me out of my chair (literally) and singing. Get ready for "my solo debut"!
Music: Ain't no Mountain High Enough by Michael McDonald.
See the "meaning of being lonely"- just watch this post. I was sitting quietly on the couch watching TV (I think it was the 10 o' clock news) and all of a sudden the cat jumps up and starts licking my hair. I found this odd and discusting. Although it was extremely gross, I didn't stop the cat; I just thought it was too weird... it doesn't get any more weird than this.
Music: Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely by the Backstreet Boys.
In this protest against Med Fast, I act caotic in the parking lot. What am I protesting you may ask? Well, they charge $25 to retrieve your medical records... doctor's offices medical records arent that big of a deal- just throw a couple of sheets of paper in the copier and copy. Whats the $25 for? The paper for the copies would only cost about $.15, the ink maybe $.20. Why do they need to charge $25? Probally cause they know people will eventually need to retain their records and will be willing to pay for them. What a**holes!
Feel free to call them if you have any medical "emergencies" or need any other assistance. I'm sure they'll be happy to help you out with whatever you may need! 770-554-5533
Watch as I shop at Old Navy, Target, Publix and Staples in this super quadrople feature shot over a 2 day "shopping spree". Why do I always get kicked out of stores?...
In this video, shot over a 3 day period, you are able to see my entire 7(+) hour school day, condensed into 8 minutes 11 seconds. From my ride on the bus to my walk out of the school, it's all here! To show the overall bizarreness of school, I have overlayed (most) the original audio and video (sped-up) with funny phrases said by teachers and students. Remember, It's hard sneaking a camera into school! Luckily, I didn't get caught... but I did get some weird looks and stares... anyway, it was worth it... I think.
Whats better than a nice, fresh batch of french-fries? Well, alot of things are... but thats not the point. See some raw potatoes "magically" turn into some delicously unhealthy, fried, greasy pieces of "food" in this supersized good video. See just about every step of the process- from the peeling to the eating, its all here!
Oh, poor Annabelle! This weekend she chewed a big hole in a chair and wouldn't stop climbing into it! Whats wrong with her? Watch as me and my sister try and rescue her from the horrible fate of the living room chair. (No animals were harmed in the making of this film.)
I decided to play Bop-it-Extreme today in this pointless post (I haven't played it in over a year) and as it turned out, I was pretty good at it! Sorta...... not really.
It started raining outside. I decided to grab the camera (and a ziploc bag to put it in), and an umbrella and I went outside to record a video. Holy crap! Am I insane (don't answer that)? When I got back inside I was freezing cold. Thats the last time I ever do that (at least during winter).
This video is based on the premise of Golden Corral's food giving you lumps and humps and being full of germs (hence the random coughing). I personally hate buffets (as you'll see in the video), and was inspired by that hatred to make this hard to swallow "documentary".
In this staged attack, I almost runover my brother. He gets mad, curses alot (I tried to "honk it out") and attacks me. Luckily, I was able to get it all on film. At the end he takes my keys, and then I really get mad. He's such a little pest.
I was wanting to drive around in the driveway, so i decided to get in the Mustang and go for a "ride". Little did I know I would almost crash into a parked truck and get really, really addicted to Starburst.
Friday the 13th brought in a terrible storm. Ok, it wasn't that terrible, but, I still thought you should know about it, so I made you this weather report I thought you'de like to see. It's not much, just me holding a broken microphone and a blank sheet of paper, but it serves its purpose.
