Just got back (late) Sunday night, and have been working longer than I'd like to admit on editing this.. I think there were like 300 video clips.. I tried to trim everything down :s !!

Last Thursday (Thanksgiving) I went on a family trip to Tunica, Mississippi.. there's nothing there except a couple of casinos. It's close to Memphis, though, so we went and saw (the overpriced, NO VIDEO, NO TOUCHING, blah, blah..) Graceland.. but for the most part I just walked around the hotel and listened to music (they didn't have wireless internet :[ ).

Wow, great editing! I know how long it takes to splice together so many short clips. At least you’re using iMovie and not WMM any more (which would have crapped-out many times with so many clips).
ReplyDeleteI certainly understand why some people like Elvis’ music, but it’s weird how many people flock to Graceland like it’s a religious temple or something. I can’t think of any other musicians who elicit that sort of response – not even the Beetles. Weird.
Don't you just love the Mississippi delta? You make cool travel videos.

This was a well edited video. I enjoy this style. Short clips that might not necessarily stand well on there own put together with other clips to tell a story that is filled with motion and lots of visual interestingness. I'd like to try it myself someday but I'm not sure I'd be able to see the story and the clips to choose as easily or maybe I'm just to lazy to take the time.
